Madewood Plantation House, also known as Madewood, is a National Historic Landmark in Napoleonville, Louisiana, USA. Built for the Pugh family in 1845 and designed by architect Henry Howard, the house was originally part of a sugar plantation.[2][3]

It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1983.[2][4]

Madewood was featured in the movies, A Woman Called Moses with Cicely Tyson, and Sister, Sister starring Eric Stoltz and Jennifer Jason Leigh.[5]

In 2007 it was reported to be an intended site of filming for Clinton Kelly's Mind Your Manners for TLC, The Learning Channel.

Today it is run as a tourist attraction and a bed and breakfast.[5]

It is located approximately two miles east of Napoleonville on Louisiana Highway 308.
